Future Leaders in Aerospace Symposium: May 16th & 17th 2024

Applicants must be within 1-2 years of receiving their doctoral degree at the time of the workshop or must have received their PhD no earlier than 2021, and do not currently hold a faculty position. Participants will be selected through a competitive application process.

We expect that approximately 40 participants will be selected based on their academic excellence, interest in a research career in aerospace or related disciplines.

FAQ

Q: Who is eligible to apply?A:  Applicants must be within 1-2 years of receiving their doctoral degree at the time of the workshop or must have received their PhD no earlier than 2021, and do not currently hold a faculty position.

Q: Can international students apply?A: We have a limited number of spots available for international students.

Q: May I participate in this symposium if I have participated in previous years?A: No. We aim to reach the broadest pool possible; you are not eligible to participate again if you have participated in previous years

Q: What expenses for participants are covered?A: We will arrange travel or reimburse pre-approved travel costs for those selected as participants and provide shared lodging and all meals during the symposium.

  2. CV, including list of publications (no page limit, PDF)
  3. One letter of recommendation
