2025 Aeronautics & Astronautics Commencement

Main content start

Commencement Weekend is June 12-15, 2025. The Aero/Astro Departmental Graduation Ceremony will be on Sunday, June 15, in the Cemex Auditorium at 12:30pm (line up at 12pm). Our reception will be held at the GSB Bowl.

Students who previously conferred a degree in Summer 2024, Autumn 2024, or Winter 2025, and students who apply to confer their degrees in Spring 2025 will be automatically included on our ceremony lists and invited to RSVP (beginning in April) for the event. Due to the growth of our event, we are asking students to limit their guest list to six.

Walkthrough Participation

The walkthrough participation form will be made available later in March. Students who will confer their degrees in the spring should not submit a walkthrough form. The walkthrough form is intended for students conferring their degrees in either Summer 2024-25, or possibly Autumn 2025-26, who are mostly done with their degree requirements and would like to walk with their class. If that is you, and you will not apply to graduate in spring, you will submit a walkthrough form by April 21, 2025. PhD students only - if you are walking, you need to get your advisor's signature on the petition before you turn in the form (anywhere on the bottom), and include your dissertation title.

All students that apply to graduate or submit a walkthrough form will receive a separate invitation to officially RSVP to our departmental ceremony. Please follow those instructions.
